If you're using RO2, then that ^ logo will look a mess.
Please upgrade!!
!PhonNotes (Phone Notes) is a program designed to allow
you to take notes on the phone easily. You simply load
!PhonNotes, at which point it will install itself on the
icon bar. Clicking on the icon will produce a window where
you can enter the name of the person you are talking to,
and the subject of the note. Clicking "Create" will cause
the note to be created, and a window will open for the
currently used text editor. (either the currently loaded
one, or the one the filer has last seen. If you're using
RO2, and no editor has been seen, then the file will
simply scroll past on-screen. Another reason to upgrade!)
Now type whatever text you want to enter, and close&save
the document as normal. DO NOT EDIT THE NAME, as this may
cause !PhonNotes to lose track of the document.
Now the note is saved. To retrieve it, open the PhonNotes
menu, and select "Notes". A window will appear. Clicking
"Next" and "Previous" will scroll through the notes. "Open"
will open the note into the current text editor for reading,
saving elsewhere, ect. "Delete" will delete the note. "Go
to..." will open a window allowing you to type a note number
to go to. It's that simple!
When you exit PhonNotes, the current note details are saved.
If the computer crashes, then the details will not save. To
retrieve notes if this happens, open the !PhonNotes.Notes
directory and extract the text files inside. You may delete
them, or leave them as they will be later overwritten by the
program.
